Medima Service ToolBox
The Medima Service ToolBox is a useful tool that is mostly used by technicians or servicemen that enables to safely and quickly update the connected pumps to maintain the up-to-date pump’s firmware and configuration and drug/labels libraries (Medima Loader application) and change settings of the pump’s configuration (Configurator application).
Medima Configurator – it allows to create, reconfigure and upload configuration for both types of the pumps of the Px00 or Sx00 generation. Configuration includes default values, limits and specific settings of the pump of the most important parameters, for example: language, nighttime mode, display settings, max. infusion and bolus rate, list of active syringes etc.
Medima Loader – enables to update any type of the Px00 or Sx00 generation of the pump. Update concerns all of the following applications:
- pump’s firmware (FW),
- pump’s configuration,
- drug library,
- labels library.

Medima User ToolBox
Medical software Medima User ToolBox enables to create drug libraries (Drug Editor application) and labels libraries (Label Editor application) and change settings of the pump’s configuration (Configurator application).
Medima Configurator – it allows to create, reconfigure and upload configuration for both types of the pumps of the Px00 or Sx00 generation. Configuration includes default values, limits and specific settings of the pump of the most important parameters, for example: language, nighttime mode, display settings, max. infusion and bolus rate, list of active syringes etc.
Medima Drug Editor – enables to create and upload drug libraries to Sx00 and Px00 generation of the pumps. Drug library created in the Drug Editor includes the following advantages:
- One drug library for the whole hospital passing the requirements of DERS (Drug Dose Reduction System);
- Individual ward (CCA) settings;
- Drug dosing procedures for individual wards;
- Soft/hard limits and default settings for the most critical parameters;
- Drug category labelling with several colors;
- Labelling feature additionally available for infusions started out of the drug library.
Medima Label Editor - enables to create and upload labels libraries to Sx00 and Px00 generation of the pumps. Labels library created in the Label Editor allows to label standard infusions with:
- drug name;
- optional drug category color;
- optional fixed concentration.
Labelling is especially useful if therapy needs, exceed parameters defined in drug library. It can be started before and after infusion start.

Easy in use, readable and highly informative system for pumps infusion monitoring used on a hospital ward. It works with Medima infusion pumps and docking stations. It offers, among others, the following features and functionalities:
- Visualization of alarms allowing for fast identification of their location occurrence and interpreting reason
of their activation.
- Estimated time for the most immediate action to be taken by the medical personnel that allows to prepare
before use of the pump is required.
- Data record of historical infusions course.
- Registration and unregistration of patients.
- Issuing of patient therapy reports.
- Automatic update of approved drug/labels libraries, pumps’ firmware and configuration without
interrupting of infusions.
- Bi-directional data transfer with HIS (Hospital Information System) or PDMS (Patient Data Management
System) by use of HL7 protocol.
- Connection of Medima medical infusion systems composed of mutually compatible modules by cable or
wireless (Wi-Fi) network.
- Any computer can be used to watch data about the started infusions.
